This camp is designed for competitive players who want to improve their game in a focused, professional training environment.
Camp Overview
During the week, players will train in small groups with a high coach-to-player ratio, allowing for individual attention and detailed instruction.
Camp structure includes:
• 3 courts running simultaneously
• Maximum 12 players per court
• 6 coaches + me
• 30 hours of on-court training
• Individual film study and video analysis
• Access to the weight room
• Daily lunch and snacks
• 2 training outfits (2 shirts + 2 shorts)
To maintain the quality of the training environment, the camp is limited to 36 players total.
The CCSA Development Environment
The CCSA Summer Camp is not designed as a traditional basketball camp focused only on drills or games.
The objective is to expose players to a complete player development environment, similar to what athletes experience in high-level programs and professional settings.
Throughout the week, players are exposed to multiple components of performance development:
• skill development and technical work
• game application and decision-making
• strength and athletic preparation
• individual video analysis (film study)
• recovery and performance management
The goal is not simply to train more, but to help players understand how preparation translates into performance on the court.
This reflects the core philosophy of Coach Chris Sports Academy:
Preparation beats potential.
Training Groups
Players will be organized by level to ensure an appropriate training environment.
Groups include:
• U16 National
• U18 National
• U23 National
Group placement may be adjusted during the week depending on the player’s level and progression.
Daily Training Structure
The training schedule combines skill development, game application, and performance preparation.
U16 & U18 Groups
Players follow the main camp schedule:
Morning session
9:00 – 12:00
Afternoon session
14:00 – 17:00
These sessions include:
• skill development
• decision-making in game situations
• competitive play
• strength work integrated during the day
U23 Performance Schedule
Players in the U23 group follow a slightly different structure.
Their day is divided between:
• strength training (weight room)
• on-court skill development
• individual film study
• game application and tactical situations
• recovery periods
Film sessions are conducted individually with each player during break periods throughout the day.
This structure allows players to work on technical, physical, and tactical aspects of performance while managing overall training load more efficiently.
Residential Option
Players can choose between Day Camp and Residential Camp.
The Residential Camp includes:
• 4 hotel nights (Monday–Friday)
• Breakfast and dinner at the hotel
• Lunch and snacks during the camp
This option is ideal for players traveling from outside the region.
