About Me (Coach Chris) Owner and FOunder of CCSA
I don’t just train players. I build athletes who can perform under pressure.
My role is to guide athletes through a structured development system designed for long-term performance — not quick results.
The goal is not quick fixes.
The goal is performance that shows up in real competition.
Every service at CCSA (private sessions, group training, performance blocks, camps, and membership) is built around this same philosophy.
What This Means in Practice
Individualized Training
In all 1-on-1 formats (Private Player Development, Private Game Application, Individual Performance Blocks), training is tailored to the athlete’s strengths, limitations, and goals. Sessions integrate:
Technical skill development
Movement quality and physical preparation
Decision-making in realistic situations
Progressive structure across time
Private formats allow for maximum precision, detailed feedback, and long-term planning.
Integrated Development
Progress is not built on physical work alone. Every format (private, group, block, or camp) addresses:
Focus and presence
Confidence under pressure
Performance habits
Decision-making in sport-specific contexts
Mental aspects are never abstract. They are trained inside movement, competition, and execution.
Individuals and Groups
CCSA offers both one-on-one and small-group environments:
Private formats provide maximum individual attention and precision.
Group formats (2–6 athletes) introduce competition, comparison, and pressure while still allowing individual coaching.
Both are structured.
Both are progressive.
They simply expose the athlete to different layers of performance.
Structured Phases
Performance Blocks and Camps are not “more sessions.”
They are phases of development.
Performance Blocks create continuity over weeks and anchor a part of the season.
Camps provide short, immersive phases that reset standards, accelerate learning, and reconnect training to performance.
They serve different roles inside the same system.
For All Levels
This approach benefits athletes at every stage:
Beginners building foundations
Youth players learning how to train
Competitive athletes aiming for higher levels
The process adapts to where the athlete is and where they want to go.
Sport-Oriented, Not Sport-Limited
While rooted in basketball, the principles of effective player development apply across sports. Athletes from other disciplines who value structure, intent, and progression can benefit from this methodology.
Player Development is an investment in:
How you train
How you perform
How you progress over time
Every service at CCSA exists to support that process.
The work is deliberate, focused, and built for long-term growth.
